In doing this, we provide a concierge-level service to our clients and seek to make the process of obtaining legal services as simple and seamless as possible. We respond to phone calls and emails, we are transparent and up-front about our pricing, and we communicate with clients clearly and timely. To us, this seems like common sense. But in our experience, it’s a level of service that not all attorneys and firms offer.

Jacob Dean is the Founder & Managing Partner of the Firm. His career has given him a unique perspective on the legal and business challenges his clients face. He began in-house at a Fortune 100 company, working in its corporate tax department and gaining firsthand insight into how businesses make decisions and manage risk.
He later moved his family to the Washington, D.C. area, where he clerked for a judge on the U.S. Tax Court and worked at a tax boutique while earning his LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University. Those experiences deepened his understanding of complex tax issues and sharpened his ability to analyze problems from multiple angles.
After returning to private practice, Jacob served as both an associate and partner at a regional law firm before returning to an in-house role with a commercial real estate development company. His experience inside businesses and law firms gave him a broader perspective on how legal advice affects day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and business growth.
After moving to Idaho, Jacob founded the firm with a simple goal: to provide legal counsel that is responsive, practical, and genuinely aligned with the needs of its clients. While the firm has grown, that mission remains the same.

We are not a high-volume firm. We intentionally limit our client roster so that we can provide the level of attention, responsiveness, and strategic guidance our clients deserve. Taking on too many clients can compromise the quality of service. Instead, we invest deeply in each relationship, with the goal of becoming a trusted advisor for the long term.
We take pride in developing meaningful relationships with our clients and understanding the personal and professional challenges they face. Jacob founded the firm with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and meeting business owners where they are. As our team has grown, we have remained committed to the belief that legal counsel should be an integrated member of a client's team—whether serving an individual or a business. Our role is to help simplify complex legal issues, support informed decision-making, and make our clients' lives easier, not harder.

We use flat-fee and subscription-based arrangements so clients can engage with us without hesitation or uncertainty about cost. That structure removes friction from communication and allows issues to be addressed early, before they become larger problems.
